Interesting that Kugryshev has had a Seminesque tendency to miss the net at times. People think he looks like Semin. Must be that red hair. My nickname for him is Kuger(cougar)(and I’m not the only one who calls him that)

On Miskovic, my nickname for him is “mouse” being as his last name is similar to the Russian word for mouse which is Miskin. I assume his name is derived from Slavic word for mouse.

On Clark and Knuble, one of my pre-season predictions was that they would really hit it off and become great friends.

I hope Della Rovere (“Range Rover) and Finley get well soon.

Hey, at least now there’s something resembling hockey going on. And unlike development camp, this time won’t be followed by another month and a half without hockey! To be honest I actually kind of love this time of year – I know it doesn’t really mean anything but seeing the boys back in town all excited and getting to watch as the roster takes shape…it’s fun.

…don’t get me wrong, a few weeks of this and I’ll need some sedation, too. But October 1 is really really close. Hang in there!

This is the part of the year that really drives me nuts! The tease of what is to come in just a few short (or excruciatingly long) weeks. Like the last few days before summer break, or more like the last few days before christmas, with all the gifts under the tree, but you just have to sit and wait.

I may have to be sedated.
